About Us
Azurata is a specialized business and management consultancy firm that helps businesses and not-for-profit sector organizations find their purpose of existence and maximize their financial and non-financial objectives. We will help organizations to review the strategic framework, aligning or realigning it to the overarching purpose for the very existence of the organizations. We will analyze the operational models and components of operations to recommend and operationalize the efficiency gains through embedding performance excellence methodologies and tools. We will also conduct business process reengineering and embed data analytics.

Ramesh (Ed) De Silva
Ramesh brings over 24 years of experience in banking and financial services, with significant global exposure in Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada. His expertise includes Enterprise Risk Management, financial crime and regulatory compliance, AML Quality Assurance and Sanctions Testing, project management, process improvements, commercial lending and SME finance.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Additionally, he is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in the UK, a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in Canada, and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) in the USA.
Dr. Chandima Padmaperuma
Dr. Padmaperuma brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the financial sector, including commercial and development banking in Sri Lanka and Australia. He has also served as a Director of the Industrial Development Authority of the Central Province of Sri Lanka. His expertise includes operations, workforce planning, human resource performance optimization, process improvements, project finance, MSME lending and credit collections.
He holds a PhD in Development Studies specializing in economic development policy and a Master of Development Studies from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Additionally, he holds a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colombo. Also, he is a Chartered Management Accountant (UK) and an Attorney-at-Law (Sri Lanka).
